We had a good turnout of Comets at the 15th Annual ALL FORD Picnic and Car show in Golden, CO on June 8, 2008 . The weather
was perfect, 85 degrees, at a nice park with shade trees. There were about 150 Fords and Mercs…most were from the 50s, 60s, and
70s.
A few of us were working on Pete Tetley’s ’64 maroon convertible…the clutch needed adjustment. We fixed it and he was on his way
home at the end of the show.
We’ll do it again next year! Comets Rock!

’64 Caliente convertible zebra stripe, 6-cylinder…I don’t know what possessed my brother to do this. Maybe he heard me talk about the East
African safari Comets! Owner Pedro Vera (brother)
’64 Cyclone convertible, black, 289, 4v, 4 speed, buckets, console. No- Mercury never built one, but we did! Owner Stan Gomez. There are no
wheel opening moldings or rocker moldings, but it does have the Cyclone steering wheel and black camera case dash..and of course Cyclone
wheel covers, emblems, and flags.

’64 Caliente convertible, silver turquoise, 260, auto, bench seat…40,000 original miles! Owner Martin Vanotterloo

’66 Comet Caliente, red/white, 390, buckets, console. I put a Cyclone hood and stripes..it looks like a pace car. Owner Harold Vera, my other
