6 Comets joined 59 Falcons at the Northeastern Falcon Regional at Vernon, CT on August 6. & nbsp;It was a nice warm afternoon (seems to be common this summer) and the Northeastern Chapter of the Falcon Club of America were wonderful hosts.  A special thank you to Ray Chevalier for inviting Comet East members to join in the fun.Robbie won best Comet as well as being draw as the recipient of a Comet East tote bag (thanks Bill Adams). & nbsp;Chester won a drawing for the Comet pencil drawing art work (thanks Pete).After the show members of both clubs went on a tour of Manchester Motors, an old auto dealership that has been converted into a restoration business. Very Cooooool! As always, Pete worked hard to make sure everyone had a good time.  Pete also told me that he scored 3 NOS 65 Comet tachometers for $??.?? (very cheap!).  I did not see them, so he may have been pulling my leg.  Pete can smell Comet parts and it must be NOS parts put out a particularly strong odor as they all seem to end up in his hands.  I did beat him to a Sprint/Cyclone air cleaner assembly and that made my weekend. The Comet East members are a great group of people and as always we enjoyed each others company.
